Overview

Description

Reqxr is a continuous requirements verification layer that sits beneath the tools engineering teams already use — Jira, Linear, GitHub, and the database schema — and continuously checks that everything a team has agreed to build is actually consistent: with itself, with earlier decisions, and with the system that already exists. The most expensive defects in software don’t live inside any single ticket; they live between people. A mobile story contradicts a backend story written two months earlier. A product manager means “instant wallet refund” while the developer implements “gateway refund in five to seven days.” A new requirement quietly violates a policy the team agreed on months ago. No single person holds enough of the picture to even ask the question — so no assistant-style AI, which only answers when prompted, can catch it. These contradictions surface only after a sprint begins, as costly rework: code rewritten, deadlines missed, margins eaten. Reqxr catches them earlier, because it isn’t waiting to be asked. It decomposes every user story into its structural parts and checks each one against every other story, every active decision, the real database schema, and the team’s own product documents — surfacing each contradiction with verbatim evidence from both sides, before a single line of code is written. Every answer a team gives becomes a governing rule that all future work is automatically checked against, so institutional knowledge stops evaporating into Slack threads and instead accumulates into a living memory. And every finding is confirmed, rejected, or measured against real bugs, so precision is a number the team can trust — not a promise. Our vision is a world where requirement defects are caught at the cheapest possible moment: the moment of writing, not the moment of debugging. As AI agents write more and more code, the last human safeguard — the engineer who paused at an ambiguous ticket to ask a question — disappears. Reqxr becomes that safeguard: the layer that verifies what the agents are about to build, so speed never comes at the cost of correctness.
